Another Amazon Echo product was announced and we’re on it:

We talk about the new Amazon Echo Look, Microsoft, and Musky…

Amazon recently announced the new Echo Look, a smart-speaker device with a built-in camera and flash. It’s being marketed as a gadget that can help you pick out an outfit, by being an electronic mirror of sorts, and it even has the ability to compare two of your outfits and weigh-in as to which one you should wear.

We talk about the Echo Look, and get the opinion of Shannon, our resident fashion expert. Here’s the link to Nicola Fumo’s article on The Verge that we talked about on the show.

This week Microsoft unveiled their very first true laptop computer, the Micosoft Surface Laptop. Here’s an article about it from The Verge – https://www.theverge.com/2017/5/2/15507450/microsoft-surface-laptop-announced-price-specs-release-date

THE MUSK ZONE

Tesla shipped a record 25,051 vehicles last quarter. Yay for them!

During an earnings call on Wednesday, May 3rd, Musk revealed some details about the upcoming Model Y, a compact SUV: It won’t be based on the Model 3, it won’t use the 12-volt battery architecture in order to reduce the length of the electric wiring in the vehicle (to simplify the production process).

Tesla is opening its own body repair shops in 2017. Wowzers.
